A knock came on Renji's door in the mid-afternoon, making him groan as he walked over to open it, blinking once he saw Ichigo stand there breathless, panting heavily as he had Zangetsu stabbed into the ground to be able to stand.

"Oy...Renji...can I stay here for a while?" he asked, seeing Renji's tattooed brows furrow. Questioning why. "...I'm kind of too exhausted to go home. I can't go home bloody can I? I don't know how to heal myself."

"Fine, but honestly, how can you survive when you fight the way you do?"

The orange haired teen shrugged. "I dunno, but, thanks. I owe ya."

The redhead frowned as he welcomed the bleeding teen in, sighing as Ichigo stumbled, grabbing onto something by instinct. And that something was the pale Abarai, both falling to the ground, Ichigo blushing as he struggled to get away from a pissed shinigami.

"Ichigo!" he shouted. "Don't make a bloody mess in my house!!"

"Sorry!!" he cried, grunting once he felt one of his semi-healed wounds reopened, making him whimper, causing Renji to get up. "Ouch...damn that Rukia..." he hissed, slowly standing and looking at Renji. "Alright...what do you want me to do to repay you? I wanna get it done and over with."

"How about no?" Renji frowned. "You're bleeding...and I can see one of your wounds reopened. Don't you dare think I'm clueless and heartless. I'm gonna wait until you're healed."

Ichigo scowled, turning away from him, trudging into the bathroom, almost tripping along the way and Renji, having a caring nature for the wounded Ichigo, darted over, helping him as those chocolate dull eyes slowly shut.

"Get some rest, don't push yourself."

"I...don't need it..." he panted, leaning his head against Renji's shoulder, proving the obvious, he was so tired, he could fall asleep in pain or bleeding. "I'm fine. Let go Renji."

"No,"

"Renji..."

"Shut up."

He carried him into his room, frowning as he laid Ichigo down on his bed.
